We all know that MAP testing is done twice every single year. This is just a way to see the level of knowledge we are at. We only have three tests. Language, math, and reading. At the beginning of the year, they give you a goal, so what you are trying to do is reach it. The second time you have the Map testing, they make you do another goal. Something higher than the last time. So the point again is trying to over come your goal.
This is a very stressful week for me and all the school. The computer lab is closed for a week, and most of the students can't do homework or at least finish it. Well, rather than that, it is very hard to concentrate when you are doing a test, and that you have sort of a limit of time to answer one question. I don't like them at all! This year on my goals, I think I didn't reach them, but at least over come the last ones. I feel really good with my scores though. Honestly I wasn't inspired just by having a "spirit day". I don't really care about using uniform because on Fridays we have P.E.. Probably my motivation would be having a free day of no school or homework. Maybe a ten in the lowest test in whichever class you want. Those are real motivations for everyone.
